Day One

OMG!!!!! I so do not think I was born a runner.  Today is the first day in my weight loss adventure.  I was ambitious and decided to go all out in my exercise routine.  I put on my work out pants, laced up my new, super cool, teal and lime green sketcher shape ups.  I stuck my toddling-monster in his stroller, set my phone to my weight loss coach, and away I went around the block.  The first few minutes went well, I walk with a stride that was full of pride.  I was doing it, I was in my first 5 minutes of my weight loss journey and I was doing good.  Well, like most I decided.......Hell, if I'm doing this good, I'm sure I could run it.  Ummm.....NEGATIVE!!!!!!!lol...3 secs into my "wonderful" run, I thought I was gonna pass out on the side of the road.  I'd be found when my work tried to call
 me in and I didn't answer the phone...lol.  Now I know I am not in my healthiest state, but.... Most fat over-eating, 5 pack a-day sweaty, old men can make it longer then that on their first run.  Well, I did it I ran/walked my first mile....  When I was finished I looked like I'd been standing in the pouring rain.  My little monster looked baffled and confused, but I DID it.  I survived....you want to hear the shitty downside?  I ran/walked for 15 minutes....did  MILE.....and the stupid zoom workout app said I lost a whole 74 cal which is equal to an apple.....WTH couldn't I have at least lost a cookie or even a mini candy bar...... all well...  better luck tomorrow.. I am now off to eat my lean protein and grains for my lean diet.  Wish me luck and stay tuned for more silly, stupid, and maybe even boring blogs from me on my journey to weight-loss and hopefully a successful 5K run!
