Ok, I woke up this morning and made a conscious decision to rest for the day. My bottom, my legs, my WHOLE body is sore from my adventure in spin class yesterday. I also wanted to see if doing a little less exercise would make me a little less hungry. I'll tell you a really embarrassing story..... Something crazy happened to me last night......brace yourselves....... Ok, So I woke up this morning and I swore I had a horrible dream, I had dreamt that I woke up in the middle of the night and stole 3 pieces of ham and a banana out of the fridge...... crazy huh?.....Well not as crazy as when I went into the kitchen this morning and found the darn lunch meat wrapper on the counter. I so can't wait for this silly 10 day diet to be over. Day two and I am already sleep eating? Seriously? I am curious if anyone else has ever experienced that? So I decided this morning that I would give running a break for today. I wanted to see if maybe I would be a little less hungry..... So far, I am not noticing much of a difference....I am still starving, and I want a HUGE bowl of spaghetti. If I was gonna sleep eat, couldn't I have at least stolen a candy bar, cookies, or even a slice of bread? The good thing is tonight I have to work, so no midnight trips to the fridge for me!
Oh ya, and I found this little excerpt on goole while googling dieters who sleep eat......lol....
Who Gets Sleep-Related Eating Disorders?
Both men and women are vulnerable to these disorders, but they are more common among women. About 1% to 3% of the general population is affected and 10% to 15% of people with eating disorders are affected by sleep-related eating disorders. Many of these individuals diet during the day, which may leave them hungry and vulnerable to binge eating at night when their control is weakened by sleep.
Hmmmmm......not only do I have an overeating disorder which has led me to this diet, but apparently I now have a sleep-related eating disorder.....lol..... Maybe I'll have to put a combination lock on my fridge so I can't get into it in the middle of the night...... You know, it isn't fair why can't I be a sleep exerciser?
